As per the bylaws of the SAPP, shareholders must pay annual service charges, proportionally to the number of shares they own. These service charges constitute the annual maintenance budget of the port and its infrastructures. They are paid twice a year. When a shareholder sells his shares, the service charges he/she has paid for ongoing year are refunded on a pro rata temporis basis.

This fee is to be paid to the Port's Administration for registering the transfer of shares, for registering the new shareholder and for submitting his/her request to become Sous-Amodiataire.

2,531 € Security Deposit + 5.806 % Registration Tax paid to the French Treasury.
The Port's Administration requires that each new shareholder pay a Security Deposit, as per Article III of the Port's Internal Rules and bylaws. This deposit is returned when the shareholder sells his/her shares. The Registration Right is a tax (5.6%) applicable to the sale of social rights such as the shares being transfered in berth sales and related transactions. To facilitate its payment, the SAPP collects this tax from its new shareholders and ensures that it is paid to the Cagnes-sur-Mer tax authorities.
