The gulf of Golfe Juan is a very popular place to anchor for boats as well as for yachts. The northeastern part of the Gulf is relatively shallow (2 m to 20 m) and allows boats of various sizes to anchor along the coastline and its pebble beaches, sheltered from eastern winds by the Cap d'Antibes.

The larger yachts and megayachts gathering in this area usually moored further out at sea, where the depth is more than 20 m to 50 m..

This mooring location can be particularly busy at summer time. It offers boat owners a splendid view of the Lerins Islands (or Cannes Islands), the Cap de la Croisette and the Esterel mountains in the distance, marking the western end of the Gulf of La Napoule.

Please note: "The Fourmigue" and "The Sécanion" marked respectively by a black and red turret and a buoy, are very shallow areas. Be careful when cruising or dropping anchor nearby.
Mooring off in the area near the harbour entrance of the Port of Golfe Juan and Port Camille Rayon (Northwest area of the Gulf) is prohibited.
